We are delighted to announce the Emap Active, Automotive
and Esprit Ad Awards on Thursday, 25th May 2006
There are many legendary things about Emap, none finer than the great awards bashes of yesteryear. Stories about MCN, Max Power, Angling Times, Mother and Baby and Practical Photography are still oft-told with hushed and nostalgic awe.
In order to re-establish an award ceremony that can rival those of past years we've decided to bring both Active, Automotive and Esprit advertising teams together for what promises to be a truly memorable night.
To add a touch of grandeur to this auspicious occasion we've chosen to theme the event as a 'Masquerade Ball' — so the more elaborate your mask, the more it will detract from your drunkenness!
The Ad Awards is to primarily celebrate and reward all the hard work and success our advertising teams and their support teams have achieved over the last year. We would also like to take this opportunity to use this bash as a way of saying thank you to all attending for all your hard work for the business over the past year.
We trust that as many of you as possible will be entered for these awards and we would like to think that there will be a healthy degree of inter-departmental and inter company competition (although of course in a spirit of mutual respect!) We have tried to make the entry process as simple as possible, so please, please, please adhere to the instructions and concentrate on getting across the passion and the personal stories on your entries — we have all the facts at our fingertips!
We think that May 25th is going to be a date we all remember for a long time to come and that it starts a new era of ad celebrations.
